Township Government 

A Township in Michigan is a local government founded by State statutes. Vevay Township serves a variety of functions including assessment administration, tax collection and elections administration. Besides those statutory duties, Vevay Township  writes and enforces its ordinances, oversees matters of zoning and community planning, maintains cemeteries and recreation facilities, and more.
