Winter Taxes

Winter Tax bills are mailed out the first week in December.

Winter taxes are due Tuesday, February 14, 2018.  After February 14, a new 3% penalty will also be added to your taxes by Resolution from the Board of Trustees in an effort to encourage timely payments.  This 3% penalty is retained by the township.

On March 1, 2018 all Real Property Taxes that are still due will be turned over delinquent to the Ingham County Treasurer.  The County will then add an additional 5% (interest and penalties).

Personal Property Taxes will continue to be collected by the Township Treasurer until paid.  Interest and penalties will apply.

Payments can be made:

  • In person – visit us during business hours Monday – Friday 10 am to 4 pm.
  • Drop box – located at the Township’s front door. Payments put in the drop box after hours will be receipted the following business day.
  • By mail – with a check or money order. Postmarks are not accepted (expect 7 – 10 days for delivery).
  • Online – by Credit Card (a 3% fee of the payment amount), or select the E-Check option which has a flat $3.00 fee. (See our link below.)
